Introduction
This site presents few applications of Virtual Reality Technology for Building Construction
Delivery. Originally this was the web site of a national RTD project (VIRIL) but
after that we've developed and tested virtual reality applications in several
other projects. The following four areas are covered @this site:
Modelling and
simulation of construction processes using VR technology - 4D
Virtual
Reality models of buildings
3D
Presentation Technology
Telepresence.
Main objective is to gain understanding of
possibilities and cost/benefit ratios of VR technology for industrial applications. The
mission is to provide knowledge for the
development of practical applications of virtual reality technology for live construction
projects.

Latest News
A new national project is
under development concentrating on the available PC based vr
applications. These applications will be tested together with industrial partners. Also various vr-studio options are analysed (cave,
concave, portable vr-studios,..).
