| British Steel is currently engaged on developing 3D intelligent building
models in collaboration with partners in the construction supply chain.
It is considered that advanced knowledge based engineering technology offers
significant benefits to the construction industry in terms of supply
chain management and efficiency of information exchange.
This paper presents details of a project which demonstrates the application
of the technology and the associated concurrent engineering principles
to steel framed residential, industrial and commercial buildings. |
