Project Networks

This sub-project is coordinated by Helsinki University of Technology.

The objective of this sub-project is to examine the effects of cultural diversity on the networks of projects as well as on the performance of the project business as a whole. The research focus is in determining how the formation and functioning of multi-cultural project networks is mediated to the performance of project-based companies. Through a qualitative, comparative study of the evolution of inter-organizational networks, this sub-project aims to increase our understanding of the role of culture and institutions in explaining what can be understood as the key outcomes of project business; its success as a whole.
