The goal of project is to provide building service products. Results are used in renewing YIT Home brand and supplying services for customers, like developers of state-subsidized housing loans. Development program aims to provide services for export. Leading idea in development work is users possibility to select attribute levels for services and make changes for those.
First stage of the project is developing commercial product concept family for present YIT Smart Housing concept. (1st generation of product family)
Partial goals are defining demands, describing solutions of product family's 1st generation, addvancing attribute selection and sorting methods, analyzing alternative service products and preparing product development program of year 2003 for YIT Smart Home.
Development work is carried out by the network of experts, including partnering co-operation of small companies. Fundamental attributes of development are circumstances and services in residential buildings, energy efficiency of building services and controling the user interface of system.
